Make recurring payments easier to follow

Set up a schedule, see what is coming, and keep planned payments connected to real transactions.

Based on MET’s current app source. Screens and feature availability can vary by installed version.

Add a schedule

Open Scheduled and choose Add. Enter the payment details, amount, account, due date, and recurrence. Review the start and end dates where applicable before saving.

A schedule describes planned cashflow. Recording or linking the actual transaction is a separate step.

Choose the view you need

  • Upcoming helps you review unpaid expenses due in the next seven calendar days, including today.
  • Monthly groups the selected month’s occurrences by date and shows payment progress.
  • All lets you find and edit your schedules, including inactive ones.

Mark an occurrence paid

For an unpaid occurrence, choose Mark paid. For income, use Mark received. Depending on the selected flow, you can:

  1. Create a transaction when the payment has not been recorded yet.
  2. Link an existing transaction if you already entered it.
  3. Mark paid only to update the occurrence without creating a transaction.

For flexible schedules, enter the actual amount when creating the transaction.

If you already recorded a bill manually, link that transaction. Creating another record would count the same payment twice.

Check or correct a payment

Use View expense on a linked occurrence to inspect its transaction. The payment’s additional options include marking it unpaid again when appropriate; review the confirmation carefully.

Add a monthly plan

If Budgets is enabled in your app, use it to allocate amounts to monthly categories and compare the plan with completed expenses. Transfers and income are separate from category spending. Some features may depend on your installed version and configuration.
